Blast Of The Past - Climie Fisher & Rob Fisher

Posted: 16-06-2009 | Author: admin | No comments

It’s been a while since the last posting. Let’s go straight to the point. Simon climie & Rob Fisher has produced the great masterpiece entitle Love changes everything. It’s truly amazing. I’ve been hearing it thousand time and it’s still in my playlist.

Climie Fisher were a UK pop duo formed by vocalist Simon Climie (born 7 April 1957) and former Naked Eyes keyboardist Rob Fisher (5 November 1959 - 25 August 1999). In 1988, they had a great success with two big international hit singles.

Rob Fisher died on 25 August 1999 during surgery for bowel cancer, whilst Simon Climie became a producer for recording artists such as Louise, MN8 and Five Star as well as co-writer and musician on many of the more recent albums by Eric Clapton.

Lyric:

I was only seventeen
when she looked at me that way
seems like yesterday

I was only foolin’ round
but she stole my heart away
I never been the same

I have this strangest feeling
like a raging fire it burns
she left i cried for weeks and
I can’t forget her
or the lesson that I learned

CHORUS

* Love changes changes everything
love makes you fly, it can break your wings
love changes changes everything
love makes the rules, from fools to kings
love changes, love changes everything

Then the year went rollin’ by
I grew up and moved away
Had to earn my pay
Found another lover then
but my heart is sad to say
it only ended up the same way
